Three-Time UA Alumna Committed to Language Revitalization

While pursuing her studies at the UA, Candace Galla was actively involved in the American Indian Language Development Institute, which provides training in linguistics, education and language preservation. A three-time UA alumna, Galla continues her work at the University of British Columbia, where she is studying and teaching the importance of indigenous language revitalization, namely through a performance course in hula.
