Startup to Commercialize Blood Test for Most Major Cancers

UA researchers developed a new blood test that can detect most major cancers and have launched a startup, DesertDx, to bring the invention to doctors and their patients.

Nogales, Arizona, and Nogales, Sonora, are representative of the U.S.-Mexico border areas that will be the focus of the newly established "Fronteridades: Nurturing Collaborative Intersections in the U.S.-Mexico Borderlands" program.

Mellon Foundation Grant to Support Efforts to Bolster UA as Borderlands Leader

"Fronteridades: Nurturing Collaborative Intersections in the U.S.-Mexico Borderlands" is part of the UA's aim to become the leading institution for borderlands scholarship, referred to as the Border Lab Initiative.
