Regent's Professor of Linguistics and director of the Univeristy of Arizona American Indian Language Development Institute Ofelia Zepeda was named a 2023 USA Fellow by United States Artists. The fellowship is intended to recognize "the most compelling artists" in the country and comes with an unrestricted $50,000 award.
The UArizona School of Journalism has been named one of the newest members of the NBCU Academy, an award-winning journalism training program that builds a pipeline from classrooms to the newsroom.
