Artificial intelligence (AI) generative tools like ChatGPT, Bing, Bard, DALL-E, and others have spilled over into higher education, sparking conversations about the potential benefits, opportunities, challenges and ethical implications of AI. How can you, a University of Arizona student, staff member, researcher or educator, be part of the dialogue? Join the conversation at "AI at Arizona: What's New?" This is the first event in a town hall series designed to generate discussion and share ideas about AI at the University.
In this panel, members of the summer AI Access and Integrity Working Group will dive into their outcomes, share their findings, ideas and next steps with you, and learn from your feedback related to different aspects of AI, such as training needs, integrity in education, ethical considerations, syllabus guidance, access and equity, industry and the workforce and more.
The Institute for Computation and Data-Enabled Insight, in partnership with the Office of the Provost and Research, Innovation & Impact, is convening the AI Working Group with the goal of addressing your AI questions and concerns and building connections and collaborations across campus. The working group, formed in May, is comprised of smaller teams of faculty, staff and students who are examining different aspects of AI at the University.

We encourage you to register as soon as possible, as there is a cap on the number of attendees due to space constraints – but at the latest, by 5 p.m. on Sept. 1.
