Celebrate your colleagues at the Outstanding Faculty Awards ceremony
The newest Regents Professors, Distinguished Professors and Distinguished Outreach Faculty will receive this medallion, designed by Dwayne Manuel, who graduated from the University with a Master of Fine Arts.
The University will honor more than 25 faculty members for their commitment to research, student achievement, innovation and mentorship at the Outstanding Faculty Awards ceremony, scheduled for Feb. 15.
The event will include the induction of the newest Regents Professors and University Distinguished Professors and the presentation of several other University awards.
The ceremony, set for 4 p.m. at Crowder Hall in the Fred Fox School of Music, will be led by University President Robert C. Robbins and Liesl Folks, senior vice president for academic affairs and provost.
"This event is about honoring and recognizing the exceptional work and outstanding impact of our colleagues," Folks said. "I invite our campus community to join us for this momentous occasion celebrating those who embody the best that the University offers."
The awards, announced in April of last year, are presented annually by the Office of the Provost, the W.A. Franke Honors College, the Graduate College, the Postdoctoral Affairs office and the GIFT Center at the University of Arizona Foundation.
