UA Passports moves to Student Union
The UA Passports office has moved to the first level of the Student Union Memorial Center to make its services more accessible to the Tucson and campus communities.
UA Passports operates Monday through Friday by appointment only.
Now located in Room 142, next to the CatCard Office, UA Passports will continue to offer comprehensive passport services, including in-house photo processing for passport books and passport cards, along with visa photos that meet international standards.
UA Passports is open Monday through Friday by appointment only. Appointments can be made online up to two weeks in advance.
The new location opened on Sept. 10. The office was previously located on the first floor of the Global Center on North Park Avenue south of East Fourth Street.
Office of Public Safety shares safety survey findings
The Office of Public Safety has published the results of the safety survey sent to the campus community during the spring semester. The survey aimed to better understand the experiences of students, faculty and staff, and inform efforts to enhance campus safety and security.
The survey report, along with a summary of key findings and actions taken and underway, is now available on the University Safety Survey page.
The survey results will help guide and enhance future campus safety and security initiatives, according to the office, which plans to send a new survey in 2025 to continue monitoring areas of concern and drive safety-related improvements.
LQP seeks information about staff and faculty clubs and organizations
If you are part of an employee organization or club that meets regularly to practice a hobby, build professional skills or chat about the world, Lo Que Pasa wants to know about it.
Submit information about your club or organization so others who share your interests can find you. Make sure to include a brief description and meeting times in your submission, along with a logo if one is available. Your organization doesn't need to be officially sanctioned by the U of A, but your membership should be primarily from the U of A community.
