Common Reading: A Keynote Address with Author Rebekah Taussig

The W.A. Franke Honors College is excited to welcome Rebekah Taussig, author of the 2023-24 Common Reading book "Sitting Pretty: The View from My Ordinary Resilient Disabled Body," to present a keynote address.

About the Author

Rebekah Taussig is a disability advocate, educator and author.

Before pivoting to writing, speaking, and consulting, Taussig taught passionately for almost a decade from high school to upper-level college classes and continues to offer writing workshops. She is also a fighter on a mission to show that disabled people have incredible value; as she argues, a more inclusive world is a sturdier, kinder, more imaginative world for all of us.
