Science workshop for the whole family!

Have you ever wondered why honeybees are black and yellow or why jackrabbits are brown? In the animal world, colors and patterns are important adaptations for survival. In this workshop, you will learn about these adaptations, use your imagination to design an animal adapted for a specific environment and create a nature notebook to record your observations (starting in our science exhibits!).

Workshop includes:

  • Hosted educational activities (1.5 hours)
  • Admission to science exhibits (until 5 p.m. on the day of your workshop)
  • Planetarium show passes for your group (may be used same-day or for future visit)
