Release of Admission Decisions for Inaugural Early Action Process
On Thursday, Jan. 15, the university reached an important milestone with the release of admission decisions for nearly 25,000 undergraduate students who applied through our new Early Action process.
About Early Action
Early Action replaces the university’s former rolling admission process with a clear priority admission deadline and a coordinated release of admission decisions to better support student success and campus planning.
Students who met the Nov. 1 Early Action deadline received priority consideration for merit scholarships and admission to the W.A. Franke Honors College.
This new admission process reflects collaboration across Enrollment Management and campus partners who have worked together since last spring to prepare students, families, and high schools for this change.
Support for Students
Students received electronic notifications and access their decisions through the Future Wildcat applicant portal. Admitted students can immediately submit their enrollment fee through the Next Steps Center portal, making their first step toward joining the Wildcat community.
With the release of admission decisions, some departments may see an increase in call and message volume.
Please direct students with admission inquiries to:
- Their recruiter
- The Office of Admissions at admissions@arizona.edu
Welcoming Future Wildcats
The university will continue reviewing additional applications and hosting admitted students and families on campus throughout the spring.
In addition to our ongoing prospective student visits, customized tours for admitted students will begin in February.
Please join us in making students and their families feel welcome as they explore what it means to be a Wildcat and consider their enrollment decision.
