COVID-19 boosters available at community vaccination clinic on campus
- What: COVID-19 vaccination clinic, open to all members of the Southern Arizona community
- When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Jan. 17-20 and 23-25
- Where: Bear Down Building, 1428 E. University Blvd. Parking is available at the Cherry Avenue Garage, located at the northeast corner of North Cherry Avenue and East Enke Drive.
TUCSON, Ariz. – The Pima County Health Department and Premiere Medical Group USA will hold another COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the University of Arizona Bear Down Building beginning Tuesday, Jan. 17. It is open to all UArizona students and employees, as well as all other members the Southern Arizona community.
Dates for the clinic are Jan. 17-20 and 23-25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
The clinic will offer both the Moderna and Pfizer primary vaccination series and the FDA-authorized bivalent boosters – the updated formulation to protect against the different lineages of the omicron variant.
The Novavax COVID-19 vaccine will also be offered as a first dose of two for ages 12 and up.
Appointments are available and walk-ins are welcome. Bring your vaccination card with you.
Flu shots are also available on a limited basis for those age 18 and older.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends everyone stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, including all primary series doses and boosters for their age group. To determine when to get a booster, visit this CDC webpage.
