Marie-Chantale Maltais
Marie-Chantale provides strategic counsel and oversight of institutional communications directed at internal audiences, ensuring that internal communications are delivered effectively and are in alignment with the University’s purpose and values, and the Strategic Plan. She creates opportunities to inform, connect and engage internal audiences to help drive culture and inspire advocacy.
Before taking on that role, Marie-Chantale led the Campus Communications and Publications team for the University of Arizona Health Sciences. She also worked for the Office of Strategic Initiatives, leading communications planning for the implementation of the university’s Strategic Plan. Prior to joining the university, she held internal communications leadership positions over a 17-year span with several international corporations, including BMO Financial Group in Toronto; Target Canada in Mississauga; and TELUS and BCE, both in Montreal. Marie-Chantale has bachelor’s degree in French and Quebec Literature from the Université Laval and a master’s degree in Organizational Communication Science from the Université de Montréal.
