PAC-12 Commissioner Larry Scott announced members of the 2018 Pac-12 Conference Football All-Academic teams on Dec. 3. Four University of Arizona student-athletes were named to the Pac-12 All-Academic first and second teams, with three others earning honorable mention recognition.

Leading the way for the Wildcats were first team selections Bryce Wolma and Josh Pollack, while Rhett Rodriguez and Chacho Ulloa each garnered second team honors. The honorable mention selections were Cody Creason, Jake Glatting and Jamie Nunley.

Wolma, a sophomore tight end, carries a 4.0 GPA as a pre-business major. The Saline, Michigan, native played in all 12 games this season, including seven starts. He caught five passes for 69 yards.

Pollack, a graduate kicker, carries a 3.67 GPA in his accounting program. The Highland Park, Illinois, native played in seven games this season. He was second on the team in scoring with 56 points, including 13-for-16 on field goal attempts and 17-for-18 on extra point tries. Pollack completed his career No. 8 in school history with 218 points.

Rodriguez, a sophomore quarterback, boasts a 4.0 GPA as a pre-business major. The Tucson  native played in seven games with one start on the year. He completed 43-of-83 passes for 516 yards and three touchdowns. 

Ulloa, a junior defensive back, has tallied a 3.43 GPA as an accounting major. The Corona, California, native played in six games with one start at safety in the regular season finale. He registered six tackles, forced a fumble and blocked one kick this season.

Creason, a junior offensive lineman, is an accounting major with a 3.25 GPA. A native of Folsom, California, Creason started all 12 games on the offensive line for the Pac-12’s top rushing unit.

Glatting, a graduate punter/holder, had a 3.55 GPA as an undergraduate and played this season as an industrial engineering graduate student. The Phoenix, Arizona, native was the starting holder in all 12 games. He also punted twice for an average of 37.5 yards per kick, with both landing inside the 20-yard line. Glatting also converted one fake punt, gaining eight yards on a run at Oregon State.

Nunley, a sophomore tight end, is a literacy, learning and leadership major with a 3.29 GPA. The Murrieta, California, native played in 11 games this season. He had two catches for 21 yards.
