Wildcat Fridays return in 2025

The University of Arizona and Arizona Athletics have announced the return of Wildcat Fridays. This initiative asks Arizona fans around the world to show their Wildcat spirit by wearing red and blue each Friday, beginning Aug. 29.
"Wildcat Fridays are an opportunity to unify our fans across the state and across the country as we show our unwavering support for our Wildcats," said Desireé Reed-François, director of athletics. "As a proud graduate myself, we want to send a powerful message that wearing the red and blue each Friday brings us all together with the Bear Down Spirit."
The pride of the Wildcats runs deep through Arizona and beyond, past, present and future, and the university is calling on the Wildcat community to Bear Down with pride by wearing red and blue every Friday.
Other touchpoints of this initiative include:
- Arizona students will design the gameday T-shirt for each home football game sold at the Campus Store.
- T-shirts and other Wildcats gear will be donated to local school counselors.
- Youth reading programs will incentivize kids to earn tickets to football games.
