Strategic Imperatives

Firefighters have frequent contact with PFAS sources, including firefighting foam. Potential sources of exposure for health care workers include personal protective equipment and medical supplies.

The university's Strategic Imperatives, announced this week by President Suresh Garimella, will guide planning, resource alignment and program development across all colleges and administrative units.

President Suresh Garimella will confer about 9,000 bachelor's, master's, doctoral and professional degrees at his first U of A Commencement. The ceremony takes place Friday at Arizona Stadium.

The seven undergraduates, representing a range of majors, will receive the U of A's top awards for their academic achievement as well as their integrity and leadership beyond the classroom.
