The university ranks in the top 4% of all U.S. universities in research and development expenditures and No. 1 in astronomy and astrophysics.
Arizona Online rose to No. 7 overall and No. 6 among public universities in the 2021 Best Online Bachelor's Programs rankings by U.S. News & World Report. It also placed No. 5 overall for its bachelor's program offerings for veterans.
UArizona is in the top 20 among U.S. public universities in arts and humanities, physical sciences and social sciences.
UArizona ranked No. 97 out of 1,500 higher education institutions across 86 countries in the 2021 Best Global Universities rankings. The university ranked No. 11 in space science.
