The Arizona HSI Consortium was awarded $100,000 to establish an action plan and priorities, to produce recommendations for Arizona leaders, and to launch an inaugural summit, among other things.

A. Elizabeth "Betsy" Arnold, Carol Gregorio and Cecile McKee are the newest fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

The grant will be split equally between Health Sciences scholarships and the UArizona BIO5 Institute's KEYS Internship Program.
