Support + Share is a place to come to be with peers who are navigating similar challenges as you build your ventures. Our goal is to have a designated space and time for students to work together and share their experiences. You can receive feedback and be directed to helpful resources and coaching.

Brian Ellerman is an investor in the Southern Arizona startup community, founding several companies as well as serving on the board of the Desert Angels. He is a strong advocate for expanding access to expertise and capital for early-stage entrepreneurs, especially those from overlooked and non-traditional backgrounds. He is also the founding director of Arizona FORGE.

In this session, Brian will be speaking about his white paper "Early-Stage Funding: Options, Sources, and Consequences" which was written for aspiring and first-time founders to learn how to get access to capital in the early stages of a new venture.

We will also provide you the opportunity to present your business idea/pitch to Brian and receive live consulting on what type of funding would be best for your idea and how you can pursue that capital.

With questions about access or to request any disability-related accommodations in this event such as ASL interpreting, closed-captioning, wheelchair access, or electronic text, etc., please contact Julie Barbier Bularzik at JBularzik@arizona.edu
