Ten expert scholars on water policy and governance from across the Colorado River Basin will gather at UArizona’s award-winning ENR2 building on Thursday, February 15th for this unique, free event examining the policy landscape, diverse interests and challenges facing this critical resource that supports more than 40 million people in seven U.S. states and Mexico.

The event will feature two brief informational sessions, two roundtable discussions and plenty of opportunities for community members to engage with expert panelists during Q & A and a reception in the ENR2 courtyard after the event.

If you’re at all interested in the future of water rights and governance in the arid southwest, you won’t want to miss this event!

“Navigating the Rapids: Colorado River Governance in the 21st Century” is co-produced by the UArizona Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy, Water Resources Research Institute and the Arizona Institute for Resilience’s Center for Climate Adaptation Science & Solutions.
