Early voting is underway on the Tucson campus
Election season has arrived, and with it an opportunity for university employees to make sure their voices are heard. Members of the campus community can now cast their ballots on the Tucson campus.
Early voting began Monday, one week earlier than originally scheduled. Information for voters registered in Pima County is below. A map on the Associated Students of the University of Arizona website helps voters find voting locations.
Early voting – Student Union Memorial Center, Santa Cruz room, third floor
- Now through Thursday, Oct. 31, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (Closed Saturday, Oct. 26 and Sunday, Oct. 27.)
- Friday, Nov. 1, 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
Emergency voting – Student Union Memorial Center, Santa Cruz room, third floor
- Saturday, Nov. 2, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 4, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Election Day voting – First United Methodist Church, 915 E. Fourth St. (one block south of Main Gate)
- Tuesday, Nov. 5, 6 a.m.-7 p.m.
People registered in Pima County have several options for casting their vote, including mail-in ballots. The U.S. Postal Service recommends mailing in your ballot at least seven days prior to Election Day. However you vote, all ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on Election Day.
Those registered to vote in other Arizona counties can find voting information on the Arizona Secretary of State website.

Campus Health's Counseling & Psych Services has created the Coping with Political Stress page, where members of the campus community will find practical coping strategies, such as managing stress, setting boundaries, and finding balanced ways to stay informed or involved.
Life & Work Connections provides Employee Assistance Counseling to benefits-eligible employees, their dependents and members of their households through ComPsych, a global provider of employee assistance programs.
Employees can access 12 counseling sessions per person, per issue, per year. Appointments are available in person, by phone or through video chat. Services and translators are available in multiple languages.
