The University of Arizona Center for Innovation was recognized as one of America's Best Incubators and Accelerators in 2026 by TIME Magazine.
UACI ranked No. 6 among public university-affiliated incubators, No. 15 among all university-affiliated incubators and accelerators, and No. 56 overall in the rankings.
The list recognizes the most effective entrepreneurial programs in the nation based on value and measurable outcomes for early-stage companies.
Rankings were based on an evaluation conducted in partnership with the data firm Statista, which included organization submissions, feedback from startup founders and alumni, and assessments from entrepreneurship and innovation professionals.
UACI, part of Tech Parks Arizona, is a startup incubator network that provides access to the people, places and programming that help entrepreneurs take their science and technology startups from idea to market.

Campus Health ranked among Best Health Services in U.S.
Campus Health was ranked No. 12 in Best Health Services by The Princeton Review's "The Best 392 Colleges: 2027 Edition."
Campus Health was ranked No. 12 in Best Health Services by The Princeton Review's "The Best 392 Colleges: 2027 Edition," the 13th consecutive year it has appeared on the list.
The ranking is based on student ratings of on-campus health services from The Princeton Review's survey of 172,000 students at the 392 schools included in the guide.
The Princeton Review selects schools for its Best Colleges list based on data it collects annually from surveys of college administrators about their institutions' academic offerings. Only about 15% of America's four-year colleges make the list.
Campus Health provides healthcare, services and programs to support students throughout their college careers and beyond. Services include urgent and primary care, counseling, immunizations, nutrition, women’s health, psychiatry, physical therapy and more.

Julie Katsel honored for civic leadership efforts
Julie Katsel
Julie Katsel, executive director of community relations in Government and Community Relations, received the 2026 Jack Jewett Award from the Arizona Center for Civic Leadership at the Flinn Foundation.
The award was presented during the annual Flinn-Brown Convention on Aug. 14 in Phoenix.
The award, named after former Flinn Foundation President and CEO Jack Jewett, honors a Flinn-Brown Fellow for their significant contributions to Arizona, high ethical standards, sustained public service, constructive leadership and willingness to work with people who have different perspectives.
The organization honored Katsel for bringing deep institutional knowledge and a broad perspective to her work on public policy and community issues. She has brought together leaders from Pima County and the City of Tucson to address gaps between systems and improve regional coordination.
The Flinn Foundation, a privately endowed philanthropic grantmaking organization, aims to advance Arizona’s bioscience sector, enhance undergraduate education at the state’s public universities, elevate the state’s arts and culture organizations and strengthen civic life and leadership across the state.
