UAnnounce Memos

UAnnounce is the place to share news and announcements relevant to all or most members of the university community, including faculty, staff and designated campus colleagues. This channel is an effective way to reach employees across campus.

  • Memos could include resources and service offerings, operational updates, organizational announcements, personnel appointments, process or procedural changes, policy notices, calls for submissions, award nominations, event series, etc.
  • All submitted memos are reviewed by the Internal Communications team and may be edited to align with our standard formats and Written Style Guide before posting.
  • All memos published on the UAnnounce page on news.arizona.edu can be viewed by members of the public and are archived and searchable.

The Internal Communications team will select memos to be included in the weekly UAnnounce email digest based on time sensitivity, relevance, institutional requirements and interest to the university community. The weekly digest email is distributed to all faculty, staff and designated campus colleagues on Thursdays.

If you have a university NetID, you can submit a UAnnounce memo on behalf of your unit, office or program. Any PDF document uploaded with your submission must be accessible to all readers. For guidance, visit the PDF Accessibility page on the Disability Resource Center website.

Announcements about specific events such as lectures and talks should be submitted to the University Calendar.
