Students Take Driverless Car for a Spin

Participants in the Research Experiences for Undergraduates program spent 10 weeks this summer alongside UA researchers, working to advance the the UA's Cognitive and Autonomous Test vehicle. The students used a full-sized driverless car to test their programs and gained invaluable experience in wireless networks, cognitive radio technologies, embedded control systems and algorithms, sensory data processes and sensor fusion.
