Dr. Ayman Mostafa named Maricopa County Cooperative Extension Director

Dr. Ayman Mostafa has been officially appointed as the County Extension Director for Maricopa County Cooperative Extension, starting Oct. 27. Since 2022, he has served as interim director, leading with collaboration, innovation, and a strong focus on community impact. In addition to this new role, Dr. Mostafa will remain the founding director of the University of Arizona's first Extension Emerging Center, the Arizona Center for Urban Smart Agriculture, where his leadership is advancing urban food systems and smart agriculture across the state.
