2025 Reporting and ASR Republication Notice to Employees
The University Compliance Office wants you to be aware of two reports to help our community stay healthy and safe: the Campus Hazing Transparency Report (CHTR) and the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report (ASR). Please review both reports and reach out to the University Compliance Office or any of the listed resources if you have questions or need support.

2025 Campus Hazing Transparency Report
The U of A strives to provide supportive engagement opportunities for students. In accordance with the Stop Campus Hazing Act, we provide transparent information about past hazing misconduct involving student clubs and organizations. The information in this report includes:
- The name of the student organization
- A general description of the violation that resulted in a finding of responsibility, including whether drugs and/or alcohol were involved
- Key dates including when the incident was alleged to have occurred, when the investigation of the incident was initiated, when the investigation ended with a finding that a hazing violation occurred, and when the university provided notice to the student organization
- The sanctions that were imposed
This report is available online and updated biannually.
2025 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
The republished 2025 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is available. The ASR is an annual report that provides information to the university community and helps everyone stay safe on campus.
The university publishes the ASR in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act, also known as the Clery Act, to provide students, employees, and the community with an overview of the university's security and safety resources, policies and procedures. The ASR contains vital information on:
- Campus crime statistics
- Safety and security policies
- Police authority and jurisdiction by campus
- How to report crime on and off university locations
- Missing student notification policy for residential students
- What to do if you become the victim of a crime
The ASR provides information for nine U of A campuses and includes the Annual Fire Safety Report for Main Campus. The ASR is updated and republished whenever included campus safety policy changes or corrections to the report are made. The republished 2025 ASR reflects a minor correction for one of the Main Campus crime statistics.
