A New Generation of Native Artists
Armed with more than 200 cans of spray paint, 14 Native American artists created one-of-a-kind art pieces and murals on the lawn of the Arizona State Museum as part of the "Neoglyphix: All-Indigenous Aerosol Art" event.
The festivities featured youth poetry slams, dance music and performances. Held during homecoming weekend, the event also marked Native American Heritage Month, observed throughout November. For more events happening as part of Native American Heritage Month, see the calendar of events on the UA Native American Student Affairs website.
