"There's something about swimming up to a ship where you know something horrible has happened," said James Delgado, former head of the National Park Service maritime preservation program, in a talk on campus. "I said to myself, 'I'm here. Please allow me to do the best I can to tell your story.'"
Over the past six months, UA Online has entered into partnerships with GEICO, Caterpillar Inc. and Salt River Project, expanding educational access for those companies' workers.
Through a partnership with the UA College of Education, a new Hospital School Program has been launched to help K-12 patients keep up with their schoolwork.
The University placed 124th in a ranking of 310 of the nation's best universities, earning high marks in business, management information systems and engineering.
