Diana Liverman, co-director of the UA’s Institute of the Environment, has received a prestigious Guggenheim Fellowship to help identify solutions that alleviate poverty and reduce emissions.

Through international collaborations with Mexican organizations, the University of Arizona is working on several projects that promote cross-border collaborations.
Kimberly Andrews Espy, PhD, has been appointed senior vice president for research at the University of Arizona. Espy will focus on current external relationships and building new ones to increase the University’s research enterprise.
