Want to see a moon rock? There's one in downtown Tucson

A lunar rock collected during the 1971 Apollo 15 mission is on display until mid-August at the Alfie Norville Gem & Mineral Museum. It is the largest moon rock NASA loans to museums.

UArizona receives $1.18M for borderlands research and archive project

The Ford Foundation has awarded UArizona $1.18 million to to create a community-led archive that offers a more comprehensive portrayal of the U.S.-Mexico border.

Two grants from Arizona's Technology and Research Initiative Fund will help the university provide college-planning support to more Southern Arizona families, especially those in bilingual and underserved communities.

For third year, UArizona honored for supporting local vets

Operation Hat Trick, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting wounded veterans, has again named UArizona the winner of its Excellence in Service Award. The university was recognized for  supporting service members and veterans through the sale of military-themed merchandise.
