Distinguished Lecture Duet: A Focus on the NRF2 Protein
The University of Arizona community is invited to attend a Distinguished Lecture Duet focused on a key protein in cells that helps protect against the negative health effects caused by exposure to pollution, ultraviolet radiation and environmental toxins.
During the two-part lecture, Dr. Yamamoto will discuss his research observations regarding how NRF2 influenced mouse biology and behavior following a 31 day stay on the International Space Station. Dr. Kensler will provide highlights of his more than 20 years of human clinical trial research indicating the significance of boosting NRF2 activity through the diet to protect against cancer.
No registration is necessary for this lecture and all are welcome to attend.
