Freshman/Sophomore BFA Acting and Musical Theatre Showcase

At the end of each academic year, the first-year and sophomore BFA acting and musical theatre majors present their work in a public showcase. This year, sophomores will appear in "Encountering Chekhov" and freshmen present their work in "Acting Up." Both of these performances are open to the public and offer audiences insight into student classwork, as well as a chance to see the future stars of the School of Theatre, Film & Television.
Sophomores in "Encountering Chekhov" perform scenes from the works of Anton Chekhov.
"Acting Up" is composed of scene work taken from the BFA first-year acting curriculum.
Please be aware that some of the scenes contain themes of a sensitive nature, including strong language and discussion of sexual assault. This performance is not appropriate for audiences with small children.
