IHA Lecture series presents Big Smile, Small Self: Effects of Awe on Healthy Aging

Join us as we kick off the fall Innovations in Healthy Aging Lecture Series with "Big Smile, Small Self: Effects of Awe on Healthy Aging"

Awe is a positive emotion associated with wonder, creativity and generosity. Virginia Sturm will describe the mental and physical health benefits of awe and summarize a study she conducted on "awe walks" for older adults.

From education to research, the University of Arizona is a leader in the field of aging. Learn more about some of the exciting aging-related things happening at the University at the free in-person reception that follows the lecture.

This is a free public lecture and complimentary parking will be available in lot 2012, adjacent to the Health Sciences Innovation Building.
