Dissertating First Generation Students

If you are working on your dissertation and a first-generation student (defined in any way you would like to define it), please join us. 

Facilitator: Kamaile Maldonado 

Graduate Writing Groups are month-long groups to help graduate students create and achieve their writing goals. Fall 2022 Writing Groups will be online. Participants will commit to the following:

  • Attend a two-hour planning session to refine the month's writing goals .
  • Meet with a graduate tutor once during the month to discuss writing and/or writing process.
  • Participate in at least one Writing Efficiency Session each week.
  • Attend a weekly one-hour group meeting to discuss the previous week’s achievements and the subsequent week's goals.
