Tour the Mark Dimmitt Desert Plant Conservatory an learn about the diverse collection of unique cacti and other succulents housed there. The collection was created as a special dedication to the renowned botanist Mark Dimmitt, whose support and role in the evolution of this collection has helped enrich its educational value. This hidden garden creates an inspiring environment for all to appreciate and learn about some of the most unusual, vibrant, and fascinating plants that are found in arid climates. The conservatory is located in the 6th St. Parking Garage at 1201 E 6th Street, Tucson AZ 85721 Meet at the corner of Santa Rita Ave. and Lowell St. to await access to the facility.
