Recruitment now open for the RAIVEN Pilot Study
Researchers for College of Medicine (Family and Community Medicine) and the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health are seeking University of Arizona faculty, staff and students to participate in a new study. The RAIVEN pilot trial is seeking adult participants ages 18-64 years to participate in a six-week study. We are currently investigating innovative ways to conduct flu studies with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Participants will be asked to do the following for a six-week period:
- Respond to weekly text messages (3 times per week).
- Swab your nose twice a week (we test the swabs for flu).
- Answer one questionnaire at the end of the study (or 6-week period).

This study is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and is open to all University of Arizona faculty, staff and students. Study staff members have created pick-up and drop-up locations at the Health Sciences Library and South Campus.
