Day of Memory, Healing, and Hope – Reflecting on COVID 19 (Morning Ceremony)
On the two-year anniversary of COVID closures and campus life adjustments, we will gather to reflect on losses, determination, grit, lessons learned, resiliency and holding space for one another. Students, staff, faculty and community members are invited to share memorial messages on 2,800 white flags on the campus mall (one flag for every 10 Arizonans lost to COVID). The program will include music, reflections, stories and refreshments. ASL Interpreters will provide sign language services.
Day/Time: March 23 at 9 a.m. (President Robert C. Robbins will be speaking) and 1 p.m. (Provost Liesl Folks will be speaking)
Location: University Mall, Main Stage
