College of Medicine – Tucson Founders Day Lecture

The 43rd annual Founders Day Lecture will honor Janko Nikolich-Žugich. Dr. Nikolich will present: Dotting the Is (immunity) and crossing the Ts (cells)."

About Founders Day

The Founders Day lectureship was established in 1979 to commemorate the founding of the College and to recognize and honor College of Medicine – Tucson faculty for their scientific accomplishments. Each year, faculty members select one of their peers who embodies a model of an investigator whose research work has a continuous thread of significance and who can effectively present that research with enthusiasm, vigor and inspiration.

Timing of the Event

This event will be hosted at 4:30 p.m. with a hosted reception. The program will begin at 5:15 p.m. and conclude just after 6 p.m.

COVID mitigation at this event

This event is capped at 50% capacity of the HSIB Forum. Additionally, guests are asked to wear masks, except when eating or drinking.
