UA Cares Campaign
UA Cares is the University's annual workplace giving campaign. This monthlong campaign is a collaboration among the University of Arizona, the University of Arizona Foundation and the United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona.
How to donate
Beginning today and until Friday, Nov. 12, employees can give back to our community by setting up a one-time payment or recurring payroll deductions through UAccess by using the UA Cares tile on the employee homepage.
- You will be prompted to indicate your desired recipients. Gifts can be made to active University of Arizona Foundation funds, to one of the United Way’s community priorities or to local nonprofits through the United Way.
- Payroll deductions will begin in January of next year and end in December.
- If you have a current payroll deduction, you must enroll during this year’s campaign window to continue to donate next year.
Designated campus colleagues and friends of the University who do not have UAccess privileges may donate online at any time.
Thank you for putting compassion, one of our core values, into action by supporting our community. Since UA Cares began in 2004, more than $6.2 million has been raised in monetary donations. Past donations have increased scholarship opportunities for students, supported employees experiencing financial hardships and funded nonprofits that strengthen our community. We look forward to continuing that legacy with you.
