Opening Night for The Art of Planetary Science 2021: Space Travel

We will kick off our opening night Friday, Sept. 24 from 6-9 p.m. at the Kuiper Space Sciences Building for the 2021 Space Travel show with music from local Tucson band Daytrails and telescopes from the Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association.
Doors open at 6 p.m. – masks are required and will be provided. Social distancing measures will be in place. We will have a smaller gallery than previous years, but this is the safest way to hold the in-person component.
Daytrails will play two sets between 7-9 p.m. outside by our Bicentennial Moon Tree, which flew to the Moon on Apollo 14 as a young seedling!
TAAA will operate telescopes outside starting after 7 p.m. and will show off current planets in the sky!
