This series of participatory workshops focuses on the academic job market and addresses topics such as writing teaching, research, and diversity statements; creating ePortfolios; managing your online presence; and preparing for interviews. The series will conclude with an application materials review where attendees can get feedback on materials drafted throughout the series.

This week's topic is "Writing Diversity Statements," and the workshop will be facilitated by Dr. Mascha Gemein, assistant professor of practice in the Office of Instruction and Assessment.

We'll help you identify and articulate your investment in inclusive and diversity-responsive teaching, research, and service. We will alternate individual writing exercises and brief discussions to systematically work through conceptualizing and drafting (or revising) your diversity statement.

All workshops are FREE to attend and are facilitated through Zoom. The Zoom meeting link is provided after registration. An in-person option is available, but seats are limited.

Materials from the series will be made available through the Preparing Faculty Job Applications Resources Shared Folder. Use your University of Arizona email and password to access the folder.
