LGBTQ+ Community Care Space – Virtual
Within all of us is a yearning to find home – a place where our minds and bodies feel a sense of safeness, connection, and ease. Finding these spaces can be especially challenging for those who identify as LGBTQ+. So, let’s create a space. Together.
Join us in online community as we make new connections and explore what it means to belong to ourselves and to one another. Each session we’ll experience a guided practice to help center the mind and settle the nervous system. Honoring our needs for care and connection, reflecting, and resting together into the fullness of our being. No previous experience with meditation or contemplative practices is necessary.
For everyone who is celebrating, struggling, exploring, or questioning their sexual and gender identities: come as you are. You belong here.
We gather online on third Tuesdays of the month at 6 p.m. beginning Sept. 21.
All persons identifying as LGBTQ+ are welcome; students, faculty, staff, and community members near and far!
One-time registration is required (linked below); the link you receive will be good for the entire semester.
During your registration, you will be asked to request disability-related accommodations that would ensure your full participation in this event.
