LGBTQ+ Student Care Space – Virtual

Within all of us is a yearning to find home – a place where our minds and bodies feel a sense of safeness, connection, and ease. Finding these spaces can be especially challenging for those who identify as LGBTQ+. So, let’s create a space. Together.
Join us as we make new connections and explore what it means to belong to ourselves and to one another. Each session we’ll experience a guided practice to help center the mind and settle the nervous system. Honoring our needs for care and connection, reflecting, and resting together into the fullness of our being. No previous experience with meditation or contemplative practices is necessary.
For everyone who is celebrating, struggling, exploring, or questioning their sexual and gender identities: come as you are. You belong here.
We gather online on the first Tuesdays of the month, beginning Sept. 7.
University of Arizona students and recent alumni (within the last 2 years) only on first Tuesdays, all identifying LGBTQ+ faculty, staff and community members, join us on third Tuesdays monthly, beginning Sept. 21.
One-time registration (linked below) is required; the link you receive will be good for the entire semester. You're welcome to drop in to as many sessions as you like.
During your registration, you will be asked to request disability-related accommodations that would ensure your full participation in this event.
