Embodiment Lab: Embracing Life Through Self-Compassionate and Mindful Movement – Virtual

Calling all University of Arizona undergraduate and graduate students and recent alumni (within the last 2 years) identifying as BIPoC (Black, Indigenous, and Persons of Color, or of the Global Majority)! You are invited to come explore guided somatic practices that celebrate the vibrant, living body while also creating space for healing and grieving the disproportionate impacts of marginalization and inequity in safe online space, guided by and for University of Arizona students of the global majority. Together, we honor our needs for care and connection in community as we lift up joy, strength and resilience. No previous experience is necessary to participate in these guided healing and uplifting practices designed to be accessible for all.
We gather online on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 4 p.m. beginning Sept. 14.
One-time registration is required (linked below); the link you receive will be good for the entire semester. You're welcome to drop in to as many sessions as you like. Please login to your University of Arizona Zoom account to participate.
As you complete your registration, you will be asked to request any disability-related accommodations that would ensure your full participation in this event.
