QPR Gatekeeper Training for Caregivers of Older Adults

When: September 08, 2021 10:00am to 11:30am

QPR stands for question, persuade, and refer – three simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.

Just as people trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and to question, persuade and refer someone to help. Each year, thousands of Americans like you are saying "yes" to saving the life of a friend, colleague, family member or neighbor.

This session teaches you to recognize suicidal behavior in elders and older adults and to ask important questions.

QPR Gatekeeper Training is brought to the University of Arizona by Life & Work Connections and Campus Health. Learn more about QPR from the QPR Institute.
