2021 MEZCOPH Public Health Poster Forum: Racial Inequalities (Virtual)

The 2021 MEZCOPH Public Health Poster Forum addressing racial inequalities will be taking place virtually. 

Our keynote speaker, Utibe Essien, will be giving his presentation, "The Urgency of Now: Sustaining Antiracism in Academic Medicine." Essien is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, a board-certified internist and a core investigator in the Center for Health Equity Research and Promotion. His work has been published in leading medical journals and he has been interviewed by local and national news media outlets including National Public Radio, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and NBC News.

The top six student poster presentations will immediately follow the keynote address. All University of Arizona undergraduate and graduate students are invited to present their public health-related research and community engagement projects. Abstracts are due by Feb. 26 at 5 p.m.
