ArtWorks Process Painting Workshop (Virtual)

Process painting is a form of meditation.
You let your hand and brush guide a free and spontaneous expression of shapes and colors, rather than painting things with help from a facilitator. As you practice, your body learns how to paint without thinking – by just being present.
Over time, you may find that this painting practice naturally carries over to your day-to-day life, where you can better trust yourself and find a state of flow. Painting experience is not necessary!
Facilitated by Debby Urken.
ArtWorks is an outreach program housed in the Sonoran Center for Excellence in Disabilities, which is part of the Department of Family and Consumer Medicine. For registration and disability discount information, please contact Yumi Shirai at yumish@arizona.edu.
