QPR Gatekeeper Training for Parents (Virtual)

When: July 15, 2021 10:00am to 11:30am
QPR Institute Logo

QPR stands for question, persuade and refer – three simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.

Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade and refer someone to help. Each year thousands of Americans like you are saying "yes" to saving the life of a friend, colleague, sibling or neighbor.

This session is intended to teach parents how to recognize suicidal behavior in their children and to ask important questions.

QPR Gatekeeper Training is brought to the University of Arizona by Life & Work Connections and Campus Health. Learn more about QPR from the QPR Institute website, linked below.
