Camp Cooper's Star Studded Virtual Gala Happy Hour

When: September 18, 2020 5:30pm to 6:30pm
Cooper Center Happy Hour Happens September 18th 2020

The Cooper Center for Environmental Learning (Camp Cooper) will host a live virtual gala featuring Tony-nominated jazz musician Ann Hampton Callaway, cartoonist and Pulitzer finalist David Fitzsimmons, resident Tucson musician P.D. Ronstadt and more!

The event will stream live at the Cooper Center website and on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

This event is free and open to the public and is part of the Cooper Center's annual crowdfunding campaign, moved from April to September this year in response to the pandemic. While the center is a partnership of the University of Arizona and the Tucson Unified School District, the bulk of its funding comes from private support, including grassroots donations. The Center hopes to raise $30,000 this month and has a goal to set a new record for the number of students reached in a school year despite being unable to host students live throughout the fall.
