SBS Downtown Lecture Series: 'The Personhood of Bison'

Anthropologist María Nieves Zedeño combines traditional knowledge and scientific archaeology to explore how, for millennia, indigenous hunters in North America treated bison as powerful persons and partners who shaped every aspect of human life.

This lecture is part of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences' Downtown Lecture Series titled "Animalities: What Animals Teach Us About Being Human" (four consecutive Thursdays in October).
