UA Engineering Design Day 2019

UA Engineering Design Day is an annual event that showcases the year-long capstone design work of engineering seniors at the University of Arizona. On Design Day 2019, more than 500 students from the College of Engineering, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the College of Optical Sciences will display more that 100 real-life projects, mostly sponsored by local and national companies. Throughout the day, more than 100 engineers with many years of experience will evaluate the projects and the teams will compete for more than 25 corporate-sponsored cash prizes totaling more than $35,000.

The event is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the prize award ceremony beginning shortly after 4 p.m. Don't miss these exciting engineering students' capstone projects  exhibited in the UA Student Union Grand Ballroom and outside on the UA Mall.
