Free Assistance With Arizona Health Insurance Enrollment
When: November 01, 2017 (All day) to December 15, 2017 (All day)
Health insurance enrollment for Arizona’s health insurance marketplace is here from Nov. 1 to Dec. 15. The Arizona Center for Rural Health in the College of Public Health will offer free one-on-one appointments statewide to review your health insurance options.
Here are some key tips about enrollment:
- Coverage could be more affordable than you think. The financial help available through the marketplace reduces most Arizonans' premium cost to between $50 and $100 per month. More than 8 out of 10 Arizonans who enroll through the marketplace qualify for financial help. Arizona's marketplace prices have stabilized for 2018.
- Health insurance is complicated. Free assistance is available to help simplify things for you, your friends and family. Schedule a free in-person appointment with a local expert by clicking here. Talk with an expert by phone at 1-800-377-3536 or 520-343-9821.
- Obamacare is still the law, which means you must have health coverage or pay a penalty.
- Accidents happen and people get sick. Health insurance protects you from the unexpected.
- You must sign up by the Dec. 15 deadline.
